Nestled along a tree-rich ridge in the Sierra Nevada foothills of Butte County, we have four distinct-yet-pleasant seasons that bring an abundance of wildflowers in spring, summer days perfect for waterskiing on the lake, a harvest of golden leaves each fall and crisp winter days occasionally highlighted by the sparkle of snow.

Paradise offers a variety of outdoor activities, including: hiking, fishing, mountain biking, gold panning, hunting and camping and back road adventures to old mining sites. Two nine-hole courses cater to the golfers and nearby Lime Saddle Marina on Lake Oroville offers house boating, waterskiing and jetski rentals.

Paradise has been continually ranked as one of the top retirement communities in the nation.
